Hey all, just a current update, for those who give a poop! As most of ya'll know, last May 26th of 2006 was my 3rd direct strike of lightning. Life for me has been a yo-yo ever sense. Not so much for me, but my poor family, my short term memory is gone, my long term memory works only on occasion, so 2/3rds of its gone also. I said 3rd direct strike because since I've been in Florida, it literally tries to hunt me down. I've had some many indirect strikes from ground, to even when indoors it looks like a science experiment gone bad and it archs off metal doors, windows,etc... to find me. I do believe that hurts too but I can't remember, I just know. Thats how I live now, facts are weirdly misplaced in my head, so out of the blue things come back to me. When I was last struck, while in front of family, I had a minor heart attack when hit, now have 2 brain anuyrisms (can't spell-sorry), carpel tunnel syndrume to rt. wrist, multiple nerve damage (can't feel finger tips so always dropping stuff and typing sucks-haha). I now have in my neck 2 damaged vert's , c-5 and c-6, need operations on them but, they're dealing with the more life stressing stuff, oh also my l-6 is damaged-yeah. My left shoulder was so blown out , that when I reconnected it myself (so they say) that it now has to be fusd to my body unless I find an Orthopedic that knows new tricks (I've had over 10 operations and hundreds of dislocations from the Army, which I was medically retired from-different story for now). I live in daily migraines/sezuires and now get the shakes, don't remember when that started. I'm sure there is more but can't remember--haha.I do have a loving family-thank god. My poor wife has basically givin up on work as a graphic designer (her true love), but other then working PT now, shes always home with me--which kills my pride, because she has to basically baby sit me. To know me for the first time, you'd never suspect a thing, I feel normal, except I have lost of my vocabulary (da big words and no jokes now--it bites). I know of certain things because I write down alot, but sometimes I forget to do that, oh well.
My doctors (the top neurologist around) from the Mayo clinic to Shands Hospital in gainsville, to god only knows how many others, have all said I'm stuck this way, WHICH I don't except. I've served in the military, I've got a great family from 5, 7, 15 to almost 18---my life should just beginning! I'm on this computer everyday just talking to normal folks, I'm not looking for anything except honesty and NO hook ups! Just like to complement people and bullshit, if you had a life like mine, you'd do the same. I really don't listen to the Dr's so I still skate, run around outside with the kids, love the woods, doingg stuff I'm not suppost to do-OK lil' rebel in me.I really enjoy the friends I've made on here, alot of respect goes to The Pinkish girls, for what they do and all crazy skaters. I might be old school skater, but what the hell is another bump on my head 'really' going to do? I live my life for my family, love pretty things out there from sunsets to that bad ass butterfly (go ahead, call me a pussy-I'm 6'2" 240 pounds and can still out lift my sons football varsity team), I just enjoy what most people don't even give a crap about, I DO!Well now you know me more then before, alittle message to two people, whom I'll probably never see again.
