First off it was Laddy and Eagrets idea to start a ska band. One eventful night a local pizza joint was hosting a punk rock show. The futue members of Osh-Core were playing. Matt Adler, Brendan Frye, and John Zamora (Johnzie) were in a band called Cocksnot and Eagret and Laddy were in the Exterensic. Eagret and Laddy wanted to start a ska band. Lucky for them, Matt and Brendan played horns in the school band and Johnzie could play bass. The band was founded on the idea of worshiping Orchard Supply Hardware, and having a nutty good time. After a few shows and a crappily recorded demo called Panda Are Nice, Johnzie had to leave. They got a guy with a mohawk called Uncle Kneil to join. Uncle Kneil fit in quite well with the oshyness, and played his first show at a Catholic School in concord. Osh-Core then played a garage show, and went all the way to San Jose where they were warmly welcomed by the local ska kids. They decided to make a cd which they are still working on. After a while Philbot Files (ex Derpse drummer, and the brains behing Kyle's Mustache) joined. and there you have it, the history of the Osh-Core."OSH-CORE!" at De La Salle Rock Show
