Merry Christmas Y'all!! Here are some snap shots from the 2007 Canadian Country Christmas Concert Tour with Sean Hogan, Julian Austin, Duane Steele, Greg Hanna and myself!! We had an absolute blast on the road... Driving across Canada and spreading cheer from Timmins, Ontario all the way to Kelowna, British Columbia to Ft. Shes "a rising star" as nominated by her music industry professionals as one of the CCMAs Chevy Truck Rising Stars two years in a row. Her debut album entitled 'This Is Forever' was nominated for the WCMAs Outstanding Country Album in 2004 and to top that off the Canadian Radio Broadcasters nominated her for a Canadian Radio Music Award in 2006 against artists such as Michael Buble and The Road Hammers.
Samantha having showcased at SXSW in Austin, Texas, found the rockin side to her bluesy country style. Samantha signed an RCA Nashville development deal to capture her new soulful sound, which was not reflected on her first album.
Shes performed for crowds as large as 80,000 to small intimate songwriting gatherings. Singer/ songwriter and performer extraordinaire with her versatility she can engulf any audience young or old.
Shes been performing on festival main stages with Alan Jackson, Sawyer Brown, the Oakridge Boys, Joe Nichols, Duane Steele, George Fox, Doc Walker, Colin James, Rik Emmett, Jann Arden and many more.
Samantha continuously supports charities such as the Michael Cuccione Childrens Cancer Foundation, World Vision, the Youth Emergency Shelter, WIN House, Pilgrims Hospice Society and more.
