Performing original tunes for festivals, local functions and a wide variety of charities - and also offer an energetic cover tune show to please any dance crowd. In the summer of 2006 they opened for Johnny Reid at Peacefest Music festival. In the fall they appeared in the TV series “Hank Williams First Nation†performing their title track from their new CD “I Know What I Know…and that’s not everythingâ€. They had the pleasure of opening for Ian Tyson in that award winning episode.
Their debut CD entitled "Dreamin' Big" released March 2006 is a collection of songs written by both Dana and Sherry. These uplifting, positive songs set in a pure and simple acoustic sound, was the beginning the girls needed. The tremendous local success they experienced as a result of this CD confirmed their belief in their songwriting skills.
The “I KNOW WHAT I KNOW…AND THAT’S NOT EVERYTHING†album, released in the fall of 2007, is a musical yukafluxx with a wide genre of music that will appeal to all types of country, pop and rock audiences. Thanks to the creative contribution of band members, this album is full of engaging and delightful surprises. Recorded in Calgary, Alberta at M.C.C. Studios by the talented engineer, Josh Gwilliam, along with guest musicians, Craig Korth, Keith Floen, and Mike Little who created additional shades of color. Catchy tunes and well thought out lyrics prove that Sherry and Dana have a talent for writing without limiting themselves to one particular genre.
Their live shows are a testament to the positive energy they put out. It'll leave you feeling like there really are “No Limitzâ€.
Sherry and Dana spent some time in the studio in February 2008 to record some new tunes, including the recently released Christmas single "Crank Up the Heat" engineered and produced by Josh Rob Gwilliam. Thanks to Josh, the song sparkles - kinda makes sense for a Christmas song hey?
