Medicine Dream was founded in 1996 in Anchorage Alaska by {Ktaqmkukwa} Newfoundland Mi'kmaq musician Paul Pike. Joining Paul are musicians Buz Daney{Traditional vocals & drums, Native American flute}, George Newton{Lead guitar}, David Helzer{Drums}, Steven Alvarez{Percussion}, John Field{Keyboards}, and Ralph Sara{Bass}. Paul currently resides in Wasilla Alaska. Medicine Dream has recorded two cd's on the Canyon Records label, a company that has been distributing Native American music internationally since 1951.
