Dance Like Dave

About Me

Founded in 2005, the Dave Marshall Band began as an effort to combine traditional folk rock with explosive amplification and outrageous dance moves. Efforts culminated in the fall of that year with the release of "Dance Like Dave", recorded live off the floor by Plastic Bag's Eric Bridenbaker (bass) with Jeremy Elliott of Staggered Crossing on drums (FYI Dave also double dips as guitarist of StagX, see myspace.com/stagx). Facing mixed reviews, the band quickly abandoned the dance moves in favour of infectious live performances that first appeared at jam nights across the city of Toronto. For the dance faithful, the band's frontman continues his work with the Dave Marshall School of Dance, under operation since 1992. For fans "attuned" to the rock, the band's sophomore release is expected sometime in the summer of 2006.I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts!
