I hated what I last put on this, it didn't really tell the story about me, and how could it. I'm sure we all put this brief synopsis and think, no, that's not right, or good enough to describe me.I'm a very simple guy, easy to get to know, and hard to get to know. I love to laugh, smile, enjoy life. I've been a single dad forever, and hats off to all the women who try to be the best single mother they can be, it's a thankless job that ages us isn't it? I also believe almost all women with children, married or not are single mothers, so few men really carry the torch, sadly. I can turn any moment into fun, or any fun moment serious, a contradiction, but true. I figure we should enjoy because none of us are getting out alive, and I'm doin' my best to make it out alive..lol Life's what it is, that's it, so we should ride the storm and smile when the rain's blowing hard in our faces. Why not, no sense in always goin' inside when life's out there :) I hope this gave a bit more of a perspective into who I am, and how I think.....Take it easy and I hope we get to know one another, will make life a bit better no?

Music:

wow, this one's tough. big band, swing, country, blues, jazz, rock, punk rock, metal, dance. Some favourites are in no particular order John Cafferty, Eagles, Lil Ed and The Blues Imperials, Johnny Cash, Stompin Tom Connors, Joan Jett, Forgotten Rebels, Smashface, Gordon Lightfoot, Guess Who/Burton Cummings, April Wine, Omar and The Howlers, Frank Sinatra, Steve Miller Band, Black Sabbath, ACDC, The Ramones, Elmore James, Dolly Parton, Dean Martin..and I just found a woman who is also on my friend's list "K", her voice is amazing and can cover such a wide spectrum.

Movies:

I love all kinds of movies, from hardcore action, to chick flicks, to sci-fi, to drama, to , to , to. I love old classics the most though, and war movies! Fiddler on The Roof and Das Boot Rule!

Television:

Futurama rocks! Go Bender! lmao!!! South Park (stfu fatass!), History Television (Canada), SG-1, Canada's Worst Drivers, animal planet for when I want to see ole G-dubbya..lol

Books:

I read it all, well, ok, that's a lie. Heroic Fantasy, History, various mags, classics, poetry and a ton of non-fiction for self education, like text books from school..lol

Heroes:

My parents, their parents, and their parents. Bernie Osbaldeston, Re'al, Rahj Hansrahj, Mr. Kropp. Anyone who stands up for what is right and willin' to make the ultimate sacrifice for it and humanity. The poor and down-trodden who keep keepin' on.
