Look in, not OUT.

About Me

honestly - I like HUMOR. that is KEY. Anyone with humor and a kind heart can be in my world. i like vegging on my couch watching DVD's of my fave classic TV shows. i like picking at blackheads. i LOVE lemon pledge. i like driving to the beach by myself. i like ragu and kraft parmesean over oodles of noodles. i LOVE to make others SMILE. i dislike people who can dish it, but can't take it. i dislike slow elevators. i dislike slow computers. i HATE slow drivers. and i dislike my lack of patience.BUT - what i most LOVE are my family and family of friends, and an amazing relationship with a man named SIMON.

My Interests

fun, sun, sharks....um, travel - been to Paris, London, Montreal, Hawaii - want to shark dive in a cage on the next trip, I've lived in NYC, so I'm there 2 or 3 times a year, Chicago is a gorgeous city, and Australia is the big trip this year...

Cool Slideshows!

Music:

Having a love affair with Rihanna at the moment, but I love Scissor Sisters, Corrine Bailey Rae, Madonna, and Mary J too.

Movies:

I see lots of movies - it is one of my favorite things to do - want to meet me? invite me to a movie! recently caught NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN and it's a fave of the year so far. In the race for title of most most enjoyable film of 2007: No Country, The Hoax, Snow Cake, and the hilarious HOT FUZZ.

Television:

The VIEW sucks w/o ROSIE!! Miss her! Love KATHY: Life on the D List, never miss the campy, "It's ALWAYS Sunny in Philadelphia" - hilarious and wrong, like SARAH SILVERMAN; and my guilty pleasure is the HILLS. I'm still enjoying UGLY BETTY and BROTHERS & SISTERS, and SOUTH PARK. Love my reality - Real World, The DUEL, The Bachelor, and my HGTV every night before bed. Prefer Letterman to Leno, and Martha to Rachel Ray. And DAYS OF OUR LIVES is still my favorite, can't miss soap after 30 years!

Books:

Just finished Jane Fonda's autobiography and thoroughly enjoyed her story; always studying various religions, and love reading anything to do with World History. For laughs, it's David Sedaris. To round out my reading, are self-help books, as I'm always challenging myself to look deeper and gain a better of standing of myself and what makes me tick.

Heroes:

my dad, "Batman." soild, dependable, responsible, hard working man. my mom, "Lulu." she's loud, racy, witty and the wind beneath my wings! my sisters, "Sissy & Donald." strong women, smart women, resilient women. i admire them all.
