About Me

I hate these types of open ended data fields because you can never be satisfied with your response. Either you type too much and nobody reads it, or you type too little and everyone assumes you don't know who you are. I'm confident without being cocky, extroverted without being an ass (most of the time), boystrous because I like the word, large, male who enjoys intellect far more than appearances. Don't get me wrong, I like to look at pretty things too, but allotment of intellect is far more impressive than aesthetical allocation. (bonus points for the alliteration) I'm not sure I spelled allotment correctly, but whatever. Anyway, the only way to find out more about me is to strike up a conversation.

My Interests

Music: vocal, guitar, piano, et al
Comedy: all humor interests me even, non-funny humor attemps
Learning: I was going to say education, but didn't want it to seem as if I was some academia snob. I enjoy learning from every opportunity.

I'd like to meet:

You in the parking lot... I don't know someone interesting who could hold my attention. I won't give a specific example, but politicians need not apply.

Music:

Too many influences to list them all. I enjoy all music. I grew up a vocalist so vocal music would tend to fall high on the list, but I enjoy everything from Baroque to Blues and from Renaissance to Rap and everything in between. You could see me singing along to Rent one moment and the next I'm rapping with TI. I'm very eclectic.

Movies:

See Music: I feel the same way about cinema as I feel about music. I had the "opportunity" to work for Movie Gallery Associates when I was a teenager and during my tenure there I watched every video in the store. Since that time, I have grown to appreciate a wider base of cinema.

Television:

I don't watch a whole lot of TV, but my TIVO does. I try to stay up-to-date on Smallville, Numbers, and NCIS, but other than that, I'm not too current. I do however, get a steady dose of the Simpsons and Jeopardy and will occasionally fall asleep with the Cartoon Network playing in the background (Adult Swim is pretty good).

Heroes:

My mom. She lost the battle against pulminary fibrosis. Every day that she fought to stay alive and continue breathing reminds me that life is precious. Her faith astounded me to no end. She witnessed The Word to whoever would listen as was doing so on her death bed. She was an amazing woman and all who met her would agree. I miss you mom.

My Blog

Inebriated!!!

First let me preface the upcoming rant with the following:  I have personally been rediculous and out of control while intoxicated.  I have been: falling down, tore up from the floor up, vom...
