Born in Chattanooga Tennessee,raised in Charlotte North Carolina was Raised in the church you could find him playing the piano/Drums or most likely singing lead in the choir ...Drum cpt. in high school/ competing in school choir all lead to what this kid is today....Mr. Teddy Riley found/ this kid took this kid and created a musical beast... later on while chauncey"BLACK" took a break J-stylz was brought in as a replacement the young/babyboy of the group so they called him being so much younger then the others.. With such singers like "MARC MIDDLETON"/"ERIC WILLIAMS" mixed with TR's ear J-stylz had no choice but to EXCEL...
