I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

How can I sum me up? "Geordie lass with 2 kids and penchant for red wine and fags". Sounds great eh?! I am a typical Gemini - I love to contradict myself. I always see two sides to everything, I am this but on the other hand Im that as well. Some may see it as sitting on the fence, but I like to think its because I can always see the other side of the story and can empathise a lot. I am a very perceptive and caring person with maybe too much compassion, in other words im as soft as shite. An example of this is that I cried the other week at Blue Peter - just because loads of kids got together to form an orchestra to perform the new Blue Peter theme Tune. It was just so moving in some unfathomable way, (I know that I am utterly sad.) I would love to adopt every single orphan in the world. But its not all orphans and sick buckets. I have an evil sense of humour and can be quite sarcastic at times... MyGen Profile Generator

My Interests

Being with my children, going for a pint, books, music, wine, playing badminton, going to gym (don't really like it but I force myself). tv, reading, socialising, meeting interesting people, drunken conversations and am addicted to quiz machines.

I'd like to meet:

Maybe new friends and catch up with old ones. People with something to say, nice caring people. I like people who can either make me laugh or make me think, hopefully both. Sometimes you just meet people who you click with immediately. They would have to have an interest in the world, and music (hopefully understand my 80's fixation) but not obsessively. I don't mind people who are a slightly fuck witted, you don't have to be perfect because I am not and I give up trying to be.

Music:

I love the way music can take you back to a particular place and time. If I hear a certain song on the radio, I can be transported back to that time and remember exactly who I was friends with, what I was wearing, etc it all comes flooding back. I love 80's stuff for this reason. I was a huge fan of The Jam, Style Council and still am. Also The Beach Boys, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Supergrass, The Kinks,The Fall,Duran Duran, most 80's stuff, Madonna, Primal Scream, Split Enz, New Order, The Ramones, Tears for Fears, Blur, The Verve,The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Beautiful South, The Housemartins, Happy Mondays, Stone Roses, The Coral, Marvin Gaye, Roxy Music, St. Etienne,Faithless,Supertramp, Kraftwerk,Daft Punk,The Police,The Stranglers, The Clash, Stevie Wonder, The Beatles, Split Enz, The Doors, Madness

Movies:

Television:

Bullseye, Catchphrase and other 80's crap gameshow repeats on Challenge. Alan Partridge, Auf Weidershen Pet, The Office, Father Ted, The Fast Show, Fawlty Towers, Porridge, Blackadder, Peter Kay, Little Britain, Fools n' Horses, Big Brother, CBB and I'm a Celeb, love 80's crap sitcoms repeated on UK Gold just an 80's nostalgia freak really- like The Good Life, Rising Damp, Robins Nest, Man about the House - the cheesier the better. Hate The Vicar of Dibley, Absolutely Fabulous, Johnny Vegas and Phil Jupitus GRRR! Also love food based programmes, anything with Gordon Ramsey and even Jamie Oliver, his hearts in the right place even if he is a cock, lol. also really like that Tim Burton Race. Like travel programmes as well, and soaps, but, dont really watch that much tv LOL

Books:

If you want to start reading books but don't know where to start, don't worry - I have read through thousands of shit books for you. You only need to read the following; Angela's Ashes,(Frank Mc Court),Roots (Alex Haley), Wild Swans,(Jung Chang) Schindlers List (Thomas Keneally), The Road to Nab End (William Woodruff), Don't Wake Me at Doyles,(Maura Murphy) The Star of the Sea (Joseph O Connor) The Life of Pi,(Yann Martel) Extra Virgin (Annie Hawes), Perfume (Patrick Suskind). Ladies!

Encourage your man to exercise, get him to run 5 miles a day. By the end of the week, the fat fucker will be 40 miles away.
