That should answer just about every question. Mostly, I write. Sometimes I do other things. Sometimes I throw parties at various locations with excessively cool people. I used to be in a band. Now I'm mostly not in a band. Maybe someday I'll be in a band again. I like bands. I like screaming my lungs out on stage. It's a beautiful form of release and self expression. Good times. If you want to check out what my former band used to do, go here, Pure .
I like good people. People who are funny. People who are interesting. People who have conversations that don't bore me. I'd rather be friends with assholes than with boring people. People who are talented. I invariably feel much better between 10pm-4am than I do from 10am-4pm. I'm kind of an asshole unless I know you and like you and then I'm absolutely not an asshole. I can't emphasize the following enough...I think Republicans suck. Religious people scare the shit out of me. I'm opinionated. I like to fuck things up a lot.
I absolutely despise small talk. I hate when people force you to hear their banal conversations. I wish there was a law against it. It's truly noise pollution. A lot of people in LA think their shit is going to be interesting to someone around them, so they talk louder. It makes me want to thrash them. I don't want to pretend I like someone I don't like, and I'd never want someone else to feel forced to talk to me. So let's just agree to never have small talk. I usually hate having phone calls that last longer than 2 minutes, unless I'm catching up with family or old friends, or learning about new ones. Phone calls are dead to me.Much of my focus right now is on writing. I'm working on a book, which I'll talk very little about and at this rate I will never finish...two scripts that I won't speak a word on...and everything else (blogs, songs, poems, etc...) that I'll post here. Those of you who regularly read my bullshit and respond make me really, really, ecstatically, splendidly happy. I appreciate it to no end.
I have the absolute best friends, and I'm meeting more good, successful, interesting people all the time. The circle just keeps expanding. If you want know what I'm up to, I'm usually with them if I'm not working or writing. I prioritize my friends over pretty much everything and I like it that way.
I spend most of my time at home. Why not? Sadly, I just moved out of the now infamous Weddington house. This means that for the first time in over three years, I live with zero D'Elias. That is extremely unsettling. Ashton thankfully will still be within a five minute radius, which keeps us roughly where we've been for the better part of 25 years. Chris Macho will be sorely missed. Alba practically lives next door.
I now live in perhaps the most amazing house in Hollywood with two of my very best friends. It's going to be incredible. The answer is yes, if your question is, "Can I come hang out at the pool".
And yes, I know I'm an asshole.
