DEATH BY GRANDMAS COOKIES are from Novato, Ca located like a half hour away from SF. Theres is nothing to do in Novato, but perhaps start a band. So we did, and thats what happened. Pat, Adam, and Jesse were the founders of DBGC back in '03. After a few practices, songs kept coming. PEACE THROUGH WAR, LEATHERFACE 101, ZOMBIE ATTACK. Gigs back then were nothing but three weird teenagers singing about zombies and bush and fuckin fast as shit by the way.. So, as more time went by and more songs were made, the decision was made to get a bassist. Kate became the bassist of DBGC the same night DBGC had just played and recorded DBGC Live At Slims. The Bass added the right touch that we needed. Time went by and eventually Thad and Roy were added to the band.
