The Moxy Groove are a reflection of their southern heritage.
Bringing Blues, Southern Rock, Country, and a love of healing through
musical expression. Melody, Harmony, and Rhythm can bring people from all
walks of life together. We are all connected, and music can help in keeping
our love for one another alive.
The Moxy Groove came together in March 2006, out of the Love,
and the power of Music. Moxy( Drums, Vocals) grew up in Kentucky with the sounds of folk and Country in the air. She carries a a strong gift of
melody in her heart, and her expression is as pure as nature. She is the backbone, the foundation of the groove.
Bryan Himes ( Guitar, Vocals) has been making music with his
own brand of blues for over ten years. His music has been played all over this great world. After years of making music he finally feels at home
in THE MOXY GROOVE, " When Moxy and I got together, everything began
to click."
They are working on their first cd with producer John Price.
Then they plan to hit the road and celebrate just being alive. And play a few gigs, too!
