MY FIRST TUNE
Colfach started out in 2004 and I decided to make an album in our studio Sound On Sound. But the thoughts and dreams about making an album with my own songs, goes way back. I remember saying that I would like my own studio, when I was about 12 years old. At nearly the same time I wrote my first tune, and since then I have been fascinated by writing music.
It has always been a kind of private thing, but in 2002 I was in a band called Cashew. We made a cd with some tunes that I composed with a friend called Lars Poulsen and there were also great tunes by the producer Torben Schmidt.
SOUND OF SOUND
Then in 2004, when we had this studio Sound On Sound, I got the opportunity to work with my own material. Some of my friends from diffierent mucisrelations joined me in the studio, and has been a great help over these 2-3 years. I got to know Lars Thomasson, and he has been writing the lyrics for all of the songs on the album.
THIS TIME
I released THIS TIME in may 2007 with, I hope, some tuneful poprocking melodies. I’m very focused on the good melody and interested in composing songs where the melodylanguage creates songs that I want to sing again and again.
The songs on the album has been written over several years and I knew that at some point I would release them, and take the step into being a singer.
Now I’m looking forward to play these songs live and here on the site you’ll will able to follow
news about upcoming concerts. At this point there are no tour planned, but you can listen to some of the songs right now, if you like to.
