Animoid: animal-android. The fusion of the synthetic and virtual with the organic and natural. Animoid is an electronic music proposal with influences ranging from Jazz, Soul, Funk, Psychedelic Rock, Drum'n'bass or Trip Hop, to traditional Indian Music, all rolled up into a homogeneous mixture and in Pop format.Animoid's intention is to move the listener without giving in to excessive sentimentality. For that purpose they have composed themes with elegant harmonies and penetrating melodies, taking care of every little detail and paying special attention to the textures and colours of every element. All themes of this demo have been composed, arranged, produced and performed by Animoid.The live version of Animoid has two different formations, one with seven members and another with five. The five line-up is formed by the three founder members plus a bass and double bass player (Lluis Chabuch), and a drummer (Gerard Mallorqui). For special occasions we are joined by two chorus singers, thus making the six members line-up.
Nowadays, this is already a real live project, tried and tested on stage.
