About Me

trauma was made in year 2006, by capz (drums) and janis (guitar). Both played in several bands before trauma. The main idea was to create fun-lovin agressive grindcore project, which come true. Later Maris (frog-like voice) joined duo. Trauma moralis call their style as a funkygrind avantgarde or grindcore freesyle. The main condition is to frustrate the audience with songs formed by oxymoronic convergence, based on dadaistic method. The sarcastic cheerfulness proposed by social absurd topics of the songs expresses nihilistic irony of mundane collisions.In 2006. trauma played a lot of gigs in Latvia during the summer and autumn (on one stage with bands like SANATORIUM, LA CASA FANTOM,etc).In 2007 came trauma's demo cd, wich has a lot of reviews in world wide grindcore/hc/metal webzines: although the sound quality of recording is not the best, (beacuse it was 100% spontan DIY record), all critics are positive, and some say, that trauma moralis has created a "new grindcore style".In 2007. spring came our first foreign tour - 3 gigs in lovely neighbourhood country Lithuania with great grinders: PKIKT, KARMA JAWLESS, GROL. In summer 2007. trauma plays in "Metalshow open air"onstage with bands like DARK TRANQUILITY, TIAMAT, IMPALED NAZARENE + once again trauma visit Lithuania, playing in PADAROM open-air fest. Trauma plays also gigs with lot of punk/hc bands, so there are no borders for us. In september 2006 trauma made "2 BELARUS WITH LOV" tour - 3 gigs in this wonderfull country with lot of bands, for example STYCKOXYDAL (by) NEW CD "TITIES NIGHTMARE" CUMING UP BY CHARIVARI REC.BOOKING!!!!!! WE ARE ALSO HELPING FOREIGN BANDS TO PLAY GIGS IN BALTICS. BY NOW WE HAVE MADE SEVERAL GIGS FOR BANDS: MOONFOG (SK), KARMA JAWLESS (LT), FACIAL ABUSE (SE), INFERIA (FIN).
