travel, reading, running, tennis, meeting people from different countries, infectious diseases particularly parasites, people watching, doing absolutely nothing at all
Basically anything, but country. Sorry, but I have yet to gain an appreciation for it. I'm mainly into alternative, definitely into jazz (in New Orleans, hello!), some electronica, not so much hip hop and rap, but a few songs I do appreciate. All time favorite band is U2. Recently got into Pinback (a San Diego local band), James Blunt, Muse, and a bunch of others. Anything with good lyrics will catch my attention. Favorite soundtrack is Garden State. Great colleciton of songs.
Garden State, Edward Scissorhands, Harry Potter (any of them will do), Lord of the Rings trilogy (Legolas would be cute if he wasn't slightly gay), Kill Bill Volume 1, Crash, Charade (old one with Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant, one of the sexiest men in Hollywood in my opinion), Catch me if You Can, Sleepy Hollow, Ocean's Eleven, Motorcycle Diaries, Sixth Sense (I'm still a sucker for Haley Joel Osment movies, the boy is more mature than most guys MY AGE), Spiderman 2 (now that's superhero old skool) and probably a bunch of others I don't remember at the moment
Scrubs, ER, The Apprentice, any cooking show on the Food Network particularly Everyday Italian, 30 minute meals, Good Eats, Iron Chef, The Daily Show
The Great Influenza, Amy Tan books (I can relate to her sometimes), Harry Potter (all of them), Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Da Vinci Code, Michael Crichton books, Jodi Picoult books, any book that is written in a manner that will engage my interest, doesn't really matter what genre it belongs to
this is going to sound a tad cheesy, but my mom :) (but don't ever tell her that because she will rub it in for the rest of my life like she does with everything especially when she knows she's right)
