About Me

I'm in grad school in New Orleans studying parasites, spend my time rotating between the bench and the field. Hoping to ease the global burden of infectious diseases one virus, bacteria, protozoa at a time.I love animals, and have perhaps too much respect for mosquitoes, but hey, they've got 250 mil years on us. That and the burden they place on populations with the least resources, whilst our government cuts funding for every private donation given chaps my hide.Love my big easy, happy to see the Jazz Vipers are back and Lafittes is open, working on an utterly decadent beignet consumption.Miss my home up north, you never really respect the quality of four distinct seasons until you live in perpetual muggy, greenness Ian --
