About Me

Beginning in their collectively adopted hometown of Kingston, Cats and Criminals were united by a common goal. Seven men who like to see people dance made a pact to create a sound that would raise even the most downhearted to their feet and dance as one people united in funk and the spirit of the party.Taking inspiration from the music of their funk and soul heroes and blending it with diverse elements of the current music scene, brought by the eclectic tastes of the seven members, they created a sound that was more funky and addictive than had ever been heard before. They are now bringing the nations capital to its feet and aim to spread their music across the land to new friends and lead the people to dance to a new and funky sound in a party that will never be forgotten.Listen to this"Cats and Criminals come highly recommended from AQA. Their blend of soul and funk is very easy on the ears and they should be destined for a big future." AQA "Grooving septet with danced up soul beats." viewlondon.com "Rarely does a band control their audience as skilfully as Cats and Criminals; the crowd being guided eagerly from one track to the next, excitedly joining in the choruses, and generally getting their groove on.
