About Me

HEY! I'M REALLY POOR AND NYC RENT
REALLY SUCKS AND I'D REALLY APPRECIATE
IT IF YOU COULD HELP ME OUT A LITTLE
BY DONATING TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT:
"PEOPLE SOMETIMES ASK ME, ' If things are so bad, why don't you just kill yourself? ' The answer is that life is really, really good. I am a complex enough being that I can hold in my heart the understanding that we are really, really fucked, and at the same time that life is really, really good. I am full of rage, sorrow, joy, love, hate, despair, happiness, satisfaction, dissatisfaction, and a thousand other feelings. We are really fucked. Life is still really good." - Derrick JensenYou can IM me at HASSYSMACKER
Only after the last tree has been cut down
Only after the last river has been poisoned
Only after the last fish has been caught
Only then will you find you cannot eat money

I like falafels a lot. Autonomy is good, and so is passion. Intentionally harming other individuals usually isn't. I strive to cause the least suffering possible while still keeping myself happy. A lot of my beliefs are grounded in the idea civilization is essentially a war on the earth and it's inherently wild, free beings. Buuuut, at the same time, I don't like pigeonholing my metaphysical or philosophical beliefs into ballot boxes. This section used to be longer but let's save something for conversation, because I love to talk.
derrick jensen / ran prieur / crimethInc. / infoshop.org / anthropik / ishmael / within our lifetimes / situationist international online / in the wake: a collective manual-in-progress for outliving civilization
They say that kids my age think that they're invincible. Well that seems foolish but I still know I'll never die and it seems to be invincible all you've gotta do is stay alive and I can do that on my own. Can we stay out of the conversation?

My Interests

distributing subversive ideas/literature, falafel, coffee, autonomy, cooking, thought crime, primitive skills, taking in my sensual perceptions as much as I can, indigenous struggles, situationists (to an extent...i hate that they seem stuck in the paradigm of modernity, and want to restructure cities as opposed to abolishing them), egalitarian relations, sewing, peace, non-pacifism, animism, thinking so much i feel like my head is going to explode and only having enough time to vocalize a fraction of it, hedonism, gaia theory, anti-capitalism, dancing like nobody's watching, love, revolution, evolution, self-expansion/expression, anti-civilization(ism?), questioning everything, spontanaeity, shows, liberation!

I'd like to meet:

People from any walk of life who are truly beautiful and genuinely interesting, whatever it is making them that way not being important.

Music:

a lot of everything but gospel, i suppose. will be more thoroughly updated when i'm not lazy.

Movies:

the adventures of sebastian cole, elizabethtown, the machinist, party monster, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, resevoir dogs, cannibal the musical, vanilla sky, kids, the notebook, se7en, boondock saints, spun, trainspotting, american history x, lost in translation, evil dead 2, american psycho, snatch, basquiat, being john malkovich, the wall, cube, born on the fourth of july, pi, saw, the curve, the shining, good will hunting, super troopers

Television:

Five hundred channels of a day-dream stimulation helps me to resent my life and raise my expectations. Locked into re-runs, your memories repeating, and all your ideals seem so self defeating. For you and yours, the pepsi generation, when you're discontent, you change the T.V. station.

There's Shit on TV by Richard Olmsted
