Brooke Payne was born in Boston Massachusetts. As the youngest of 4 siblings, Brooke grew up in a home where music always rang throughout the walls. He always had a genuine appreciation for great music and the art of dance. In his formative years Brooke created and performed with a group called Touch of Blue, which was reminiscent of Blue Magic (his all time favorite group). The group was a reflection of Brooke’s appreciation of music and polished R&B groups like Blue Magic and The Temptations. He later carried this precision on to New Edition, a group that he formed and developed with his nephew and friends. All of the classic N.E. choreography is identifiably created, owned and nurtured by Brooke. During the success of New Edition, Brooke opened 617 Management, a music company specializing in up and coming R&B groups and artists using the same techniques of development from his early experience. All that know him well have been to “The Capitol”. Considered by many fans and people in the music industry to be the seventh member of New Edition, Brooke continues to inspire, create and develop.Brooke also manages the legendary, multi-platinum, R&B/Pop singing sensation En Vogue. Their grace, elegance, smooth harmonious vocals and sophisticated dance moves are synonymous with the type of class Brooke represents through all of his artists. His passion and dedication is apparent with every performance, as you will soon be able to see on the up coming project of En Vogue.
