About Me

Recently divorced, but nothing keeps me down for long. I am currently living in Sweden and looking forward to all that the future may hold. I can find humor in just about anything, which makes me slightly ... mad. However, I figure the best "revenge" will be living well and being happy.
I love to write short stories, non-fiction, lyrics. I'm a minimalist and not into "things", and I put my heart into whatever I do. I am not a religious fanatic, but I live by a code, which is in the Scriptures. Yeshua (Jesus) is first in my life.By the way, my picture partner is an amazing Scottish actor by the name of Gerard Butler; I've been a fan since seeing him in Wes Craven's "Dracula 2000". Lucky me. My Interests

I enjoy reading, writing and editing, listening to music, watching movies; photography, dabbling in web design and learning anything new to me.
I'm obsessed with travel and hope to visit many countries.I am also very much into DIY, homesteading, and self-sufficiency; not a city girl, although I can take care of myself "out there". I merely prefer the beauty and simplicity of living in the country.
But more than anything else, I'd love a peanut Butler and Gerry sandwich...

I'd like to meet:

Positive people. Kind and trustworthy individuals who are a little bit ahead of me on the path, willing to give and be given to along the way. People like me, who would rather laugh than cry, who want a loyal friend, who are not afraid to think outside the box.

Music:

Purely eclectic: Matt Dusk, SPEARFISH, P!NK, George Harrison, Pearl Jam, Beatles, RH Chili Peppers. Christina Aguilera, the Corrs, Heart, Chantal Lambert and many others.

Movies:

Current favorite is Dear Frankie. I adore Phantom of the Opera, Dracula 2000, Timeline. Anything funny, quirky (love Kevin Smith!), Eating Raoul, Bootmen, Harry Potter, A Knight's Tale, Dead Poet's Society, so many others. And did I mention anything with Gerard Butler?

Television:

Nothing will ever replace Friends or Frasier IMO. I adore John Ritter and will watch anything if he's in it.

Books:

All 66 books of the Bible. To Kill A Mockingbird, Evergreen, Tim, She's Come Undone. Dickens, Vonnegut, Stephen King and any kind of history or biography. Diana Gabaldon. Roberta Gellis. I am hooked on the Harry Potter series too.

Heroes:

Anyone who struggles to raise his/her children safely in this world today.

Shame on me. New site! NanoWriMo time.

Where am I going?

When I moved to Sweden, my primary occupation was teaching. But EX works with media and over the years, I have worked along side of him (or helped him in his endeavors). As a result, I've gained exper...

Listening to Mortal Kombat Soundtrack

I love to exercise to the music in this CD; it's so energetic. Just thought I'd take the quiz and I turned out to be just who I thought I would be. Yeah, I'm a dork. But I don't care. LoL What...

It figures.

Saturday was a sh*tty day. Literally. We live out in the country. Country living + Sweden = septic tank. Saturday morning, the toilet started flushing slowly, then filling up -- and not in a nice way....

Cleaning house?

Hey, y'all. I removed all of the blogs related to the disintegration of my marriage and the divorce. The place looks pretty empty, but I don't want my MySpace to be about that. I want it to be about h...

Not one of my better days.

It started out really nice; I got to chat with a new friend (Hi J!) and he seems really nice and positive; just the kind of people I need to surround myself with now. It went downhill from there. Oh, ...
