Interstellar Overdrive

About Me

Listen to Interstellar Overdrive live every Wednesday at 6:00pm Eastern, 3:00pm Pacific, on ProgRock.com , the first name in progressive rock, and the best prog station on the net since 1998. And be sure to join us in chat as well. If you can't listen live, you can download or subscribe to the show in podcast format at PodCast Alley . Shows are available for 4 weeks after broadcast.

Interstellar Overdrive plays the best in symphonic, neo, melancholic, art rock, and psychedelic progressive rock, and the best variety as well. We have a personal library of over to 9000 songs, as well as access to the over 20,000 song library of ProgRock.com, so you won't be constantly bombarded by the same 3 artists every week. We're constantly acquiring and playing new music in order to keep the show fresh and exciting. Progrock.com has Flash-based chatroom as well, where you can interact with the DJs during live broadcasts, as well as listeners from all over the world.

You can also visit my personal website to find out more about the show. While you're there, make sure to visit My Blog where weekly playlists and other goodies are posted.

My Interests

Outside of my musical interests, I share my life with the most amazing woman on the planet (I wish she could see that!). She is my sunshine, my strength, my muse, and the only reason I have survived the past 5 years without completely losing my mind, or jumping off a cliff. We also have Trooper, best described as the male dog version of Christine. Never has their been a dog with more personality, and the ability to bring happiness. Bella and Whiskey are Trooper's feline antagonists, yet he is their referee and protector. My daughter Anna is my pride and joy, and she is currently a college student. Anna's baby is Oliver, an adorable and energetic orange Tabby who keeps me company, and is currently keeping me off of anti-depressants.

I'd like to meet:

Please consider making a donation to the Interstellar Overdrive website. We've come a long way in the few years that we've been on the internet; from a weekly webcast on an insignificant internet station, to a move to one of the original progressive rock outlets on the net. It was also at this time that we started making every webcast available in 128k near-CD quality podcasts that are downloadable for a whole month. We've made sure that our music is fresh, relevant, and always on the bleeding edge of the modern prog scene. We've been jokingly called "the most influential prog show on the net", but we do take our responsibility seriously. The PayPal button is there for you folks who enjoy what we do, think others enjoy it as well, and think it's important enough to see to it that it continues. Your generosity will be blessed with continuing first-class entertainment (OK, maybe THAT'S a stretch), and by the eye in the sky who rewards those who do good in their time on this planet.
