Fade to silence in a distant dream that carried me

About Me

I assert the pursuit of knowledge. I assert the ability of our human race to saftely steer us back into the deep waters of social, physical and spiritual evolution. I assert one cannot exist without the other. We're born alone, we live alone, we die alone. Only through our love and friendship can we create the illusion for the moment that we're not alone. No matter how both us may change, in our memories we could love each other eternally. Even as you were dying, you gave me a dream. Like a painting or drama, our relationship with the world, our memories and imagination, and the society in which we live, becomes a constant, subtle, complex movement across boundaries, a movement of projection and interiorization, of comparison and structure; a world in which action and symbol, word and object become inseparable. In the future each moment will be photographed. Doubled our bodies will grow transparent. We will enter each other like walking through a door. Until at last we come to the end of the picture world. A world where we are also pictures. Our movies and photographs. Will they help us understand our last place. Teach us how to die?

I'd like to meet:

A human being is part of the whole called by us universe, a part limited in time and space. We experience ourselves, our thoughts and feelings as something separate from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty. The true value of a human being is determined by the measure and the sense in which they have obtained liberation from the self. We shall require a substantially new manner of thinking if humanity is to survive. (Albert Einstein, 1954)

"I thought of a labyrinth of labyrinths, of one sinuous spreading labyrinth that would encompass the past and the future and in some way involve the stars." - Jorge Luis Borges
