Hip Hop veterans KID DYNOMITE & The BEAT DETECTIVE make up the Diggers. Whether you know them as sneaker pimps, record-nerds, funky beatmakers, old school hip hoppers - these two hardcore hip hop fanatics have been on the UK scene for years. Over the last 20yrs they have amassed a huge collection of beats to rock any respectable Hip Hop jam or Funk party! As they spend most days lookin' for beats the name seemed more than appropriate!!
These guys are dusty beatmakers who DO NOT fake the FUNK! Using MPC2000 & SP1200 hardware and a crate of dusty vinyl, these old school cats know how to rock a beat fatter than a sumo wrestler! ...and as his name suggests the BEAT DETECTIVE has got breaks to GO! You can find him most weeekends trawling through your local charity shops and boot sales in search of a dusty gem! KID DYNOMITE is the older of the two members (a real grand-daddy of the hip hop scene!!) and spends more time digging for records than any man I know! He's the dude wearing a v-stitch goosedown, kangol, dukey gold rope, and sporting the freshest sneakers! And he's sniffin' round some record crates near you!! Believe me these guys got it bad!
