My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Never mind that. I would like to mention the people…that I DON’T want to meet. Mainly the mindless masses who use the mostly untrue and irrelevant information on people’s myspace pages to network and make superficial friends. People who only wish to self glorify their own empty lives. People who wish to paint an insincere and false image of who they really are with pic’s and blog’s about themselves. The people who fall for the lame pick up lines of those who only seek to get to know one part of them...from the waist down. I hate what myspace has done to real human connection. I must be honest. My personal disclaimer: I am ONLY here myself for obvious reasons of shameless self-promotion for my entertainment career. Myspace is nothing more than a giant advertising space for your product… and real human connection is NOT a product. You are only fooling yourself, if you believe that you are playing an active role in the lives of your real family and friends (those who truly care about you) by peering into ego driven pages, while hidden behind a computer screen. Real, thoughtful, human interaction takes place in person… with a hand written note (that a computer prompt doesn’t have to remind you to send on their special day) or with a warm voice over the phone. If you don’t feel secure enough with who you are to connect in person…don’t bother trying, just keep on wondering what cool band or what drunk idiot you meet at a bar is up to, by connecting through their meaningless pages. Stay in the bubble of myspace forever, because that is the empty, vacuous environment in which you obviously belong. Viewing someone’s life from a distance, is not really being a part of it. It is only a shallow persons way to fool themselves into believing that they ARE involved. If you are over sixteen and are still constantly logging in to myspace for no other reason than to gossip and pretend that you are truly connecting with people, then you should get a life (and maybe even some professional help)…in the “real” world. Keeping in touch with your friends and families lives in this vague, distant way or trying to meet new friends without actually having to communicate with them personally or thinking that you are giving or gaining true perspective by viewing a (self made and controlled) myspace page… is soulless, hollow and unrealistic. Touch, Feel and be Real. Try logging in to that.
