I'm the luckiest guy I know!

About Me

There's not all that much to tell....I have the best-est partner in the world! We bought our first house together last summer, and we're finally (finally!) done with the interior remodeling = Yay! We're going to have a house-warming party in a couple of weeks, and then we'll have the contractors begin on the exterior remodeling (modifying the garage, adding a carport, blah, blah, blah). But the inside of the house is everything we'd hoped for... and then some!Other than that, I'm just kind of an average joe. I have a job I love, a wonderful circle of friends, and a family that is both very cool and severely intolerable. Go figure. ;-)You Are A: Bear Cub !
Bears are strong and independent creatures who roam in the forest in search of food. Bears are usually gentle, but anger one and be prepared for their full fury! You're big, you have a bit of a temper -- classic attributes of a bear. Intelligent and resourceful, though lazy at times, you are a fascinating creature of the wild.
You were almost a: Monkey or a Duck
You are least like a: Mouse or a Chipmunk What Cute Animal Are You?
You Are An ENFP
The Inspirer
You love being around people, and you are deeply committed to your friends.
You are also unconventional, irreverent, and unimpressed by authority and rules.
Incredibly perceptive, you can usually sense if someone has hidden motives.
You use lots of colorful language and expressions. You're quite the storyteller!
In love, you are quite the charmer. And you are definitely willing to risk your heart.
You often don't follow through with your flirting or professed feelings. And you do break a lot of hearts.
At work, you are driven but not a workaholic. You just always seem to enjoy what you do.
You would make an excellent entrepreneur, politician, or journalist.
How you see yourself: compassionate, unselfish, and understanding
When other people don't get you, they see you as: gushy, emotional, and unfocused What's Your Personality Type?

You are The Magician

Skill, wisdom, adaptation. Craft, cunning, depending on dignity.

Eleoquent and charismatic both verbally and in writing, you are clever, witty, inventive and persuasive.

The Magician is the male power of creation, creation by willpower and desire. In that ancient sense, it is the ability to make things so just by speaking them aloud. Reflecting this is the fact that the Magician is represented by Mercury. He represents the gift of tongues, a smooth talker, a salesman. Also clever with the slight of hand and a medicine man - either a real doctor or someone trying to sell you snake oil.

My Interests

SciFi, history, my cats, travel, computer stuff

I'd like to meet:

Just looking to make some new friends. I'm always up for drinks or dinner or dessert! And if that eventually leads to video-night or game-night, cool!

Music:

I have fairly broad taste in music, but if I had to pick my all-time favorites, I'd have to list two: ABBA and Scissor Sisters. Completely life-changing. Best. Music. Ever.

Movies:

All-time faves are: A Fish Called Wanda, Muriel's Wedding, Office Space, Trick, French Kiss. I have other favorites, too, but those come and go as I remember them.

Television:

In no particular order: Lost, Desperate Housewives, Grey's Anatomy, My Name Is Earl, Battlestar Galactica, Stargate SG-1, Stargate Atlantis, House, MythBusters, Dirty Jobs

Books:

Everything by Augusten Burroughs: Running With Scissors, Dry, Magical Thinking, Possible Side Effects, and Sellevision. Seriously -- he is one of the best writers of our time. Hilarious and poignant in the same sentence. Amazing stuff.

Heroes:

A friend of mine once said, "Integrity is what you do with your beliefs and convictions when nobody else is looking." So my heroes are those people who really try to live their beliefs.
