Oh, such an eclectic group: Barack Obama, Bill & Hillary Clinton, Gene Kelly, Kate Hepburn, Johnny Depp, Stephen King, Meryl Streep, Madonna, Oprah, Jesus Christ, then God, then Buddha... no... maybe all three of them together... and I'd like to meet George W. just so I could ask him what the hell he think's he's doing. And on MySpace? I guess I'd lust like to keep in touch with my friends, re-connect with old friends and maybe meet some new ones. I'm not extremely interested in all these big-boobed college girls that keep asking me to go to their dormitory cam website, though. LOL Seriously, though - if you're going to add me to your friend list and you don't know me... just drop me a note and say hi as well? Cool. Peace.
Check out Guy's music - it's awesome: www.myspace.com/guyadkins or just click on his picture in my friends list. The cds that are in my car right now are Dixie Chicks, Pink, Fergie, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce and this awesome Mexican popstar named Julieta Venegas. I am a hopeless pop junkie, I admit it. Madonna has ruled my world pretty much since 1982. But my fave of faves is Eddi Reader. Seriously, she's amazing. Love James Taylor, Joni Mitchell, Dan Fogelberg, Ella Fitzgerald, Fleetwood Mac, Patty Griffin, James Blunt, Rufus Wainwright... and I'm really loving Regina Spektor. Oh, and yes, I love ABBA.
My faves? 'Bringing Up Baby', 'Singin' In The Rain', 'The Color Purple', 'Heathers', 'Dead Poets Society', 'Waiting for Guffman', 'Shawshank Redemption', 'Dolores Claiborne', 'Monty Python and the Holy Grail', 'All About Eve', 'Halloween'... I think I'm one of the two people (Guy being the other) who LOVED 'Titanic'... 'The Constant Gardener', 'Pride and Prejudice', and 'Brokeback Mountain'.
Is there a way to feed Project Runway directly into my veins? HUGE 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' fan... always will be. I am still heartbroken it's over. 'Veronica Mars', 'Lost', 'Survivor'... and 'Little Britain' is a new fave.
Um - 'To Kill A Mockingbird' rocked my world... 'The Great Gatsby', 'Pillars of the Earth', 'In a Sunburned Country', 'Fingersmith', 'Andorra' and anything Stephen King... bring it on!
Gene Kelly and Katherine Hepburn
