----------------ABOUT US: Our Name is taken from the 1930's Blond Bombshell vixen of the arthouse-gaudy-monster-flic fame, Fay Wray. An original gothic girl who rocked the screen and for my money rocked America. Queen of horror heroines of an earlier time: the raw, primitive and bold 1930's America. The Empire States buliding was built in the 30's and Kong descended upon it in 33. Surrealism was the art movement of the day. Man Ray, Max Ernst Dali all raged in NYC, confounded and confusing the mind, and Dadaism still rebelled on the scene. Les Paul invented the electice guitar in 1929, and Robert Johnson, Bessie Smith and Ma Rainey crooned the airwaves setting the stage for rock-n-roll. It was a time when everything was new -- new ideas, new genres, new materials, new directions. Nothing was yet uniform, nothing too polished.
