The 2007 Schedule

This is going to be a much lighter year for the ArtBiker family. We will be working on a book as well as promoting our fine art on-line. As of March 2006, Polaroid discontinued the SX-70 film that has been used for all of Matthew's Polaroid images. He is switching media and there will be new sections added to the website soon.

May 13 - 27 : ArtBiker will be photographing in Cairo, Egypt. Watch for upcoming exhibitions.

June 1 - 3 : Republic of Texas (ROT) Rally, Austin, TX.

Early August : No trip to Sturgis this year... ArtBiker is expecting his second baby girl!! Her name will be Xaiden Clark Linton.

September of 2007 - Sept. 2008 will be spent on a documentary film on the Deacons of Deadwood M/C. This should come out in 2009.

October and November : ArtBiker will be getting his chest piece done by tattoo artist Jeff Ensminger of Addison, TX.

October 18 - 21 : Biketoberfest, Daytona Beach, FL.

November 1 - 4 : Lone Star Rally, Galveston, TX.

November - January : ArtBiker will be getting his sleeve done by tattoo artist Nick Baxter in Connecticut.

January : ArtBiker will be hanging the new art exhibition "Artists of Permanence: the fine art of the tattooist" the the University of Houston- Clear Lake Art Gallery. Stop in, say hi, check out the work.

The 2006 Schedule

January 9th - the debut of ArtBiker's first child (it's a girl!)... little Camera Steele Linton was born at 10:37am at 6 lbs and 1 oz.

March 3 - 24 : Daytona Bike Week with an ArtBiker exhibition at the DeLand Museum of Art.

May 10 - 15 : Hell City Tattoo Festival. Columbus, OH.

June 1 - 4 : Republic of Texas (ROT) Rally. Austin, TX.

June 9 - 19 : Laconia Motorcycle Week with an ArtBiker exhibition at the Belknap Mill Society. Artist Reception Sunday, June 11 from 11-1 : Come check out the work and let us buy you a beer!

June 16 - 18 : York, PA for the biker bash and a tour of the Harley Plant.

June 23 - 24 : The Horse Smoke Out. Salisbury, NC.

August 7 - 12 : Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Sturgis, SD.

November 2 - 5 : Lone Star Rally. Galveston, TX.

Upcoming and Recent Exhibitions:

Mid 2009 - Matthew Linton will have a solo exhibition at El Centro Integral de Fotografia in Puebla, Mexico. While there, he will be photographing members from local MCs. Keep an eye out for this new work, it should be out in mid 2010.

Mid 2009 - The debut of the documentary of the Deacons of Deadwood Motorcycle Club.

July 2009 - ArtBiker will spend the month holding workshops in Prague. He will also be travelling around Eastern Europe on a Harley and ..ing the biker scene there.

11.01.08 through 12.01.08 - Matthew Linton will have a solo exhibition at the Instituto de Artes Plasticas in Xalapa, Mexico.

9.13.08 through 10.26.08 - Matthew Linton will have a solo exhibition at the Lancaster Museum of Art in Lancaster, PA.

May 2007 - ArtBiker will be photographing the biker scene in Cairo, Egypt. He will also take time to give a presentation of his workat the Fulbright Office in Cairo.

10.01.06 through 11.01.06 - Matthew Linton will be included in a five person show entitled "Photo Narratives." The opening will be October 5th from 2:30 - 5:00 at the Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Cazenovia, NY.

07.22.06 through 08.22.06 - Exhibition of ArtBiker's photographs at the Seen Gallery in Decatur, GA. Come see our images in context with machines by Discovery Biker Build-off champ Hank Young and other very talented motorcycle artists.

06.17.06 through 07.22.06 - Exhibition of ArtBiker's work at the River Bank Studios in York, PA.

06.09.06 through 06.19.06 - Solo exhibition of ArtBiker's best work at the Belknap Mill Society in Laconia, NH. This is part of the Laconia Motorcycle Week festivities. Free! Exhibition open all week with an artist reception on Sunday, June 11th, 6-8pm. Free Beer until the keg runs dry.

05.25.06 through 06.22.06 - Matthew's work will be included in the Circus of Books show in Los Angeles, California. Stop by and see a pic of Mrs. ArtBiker (Big Mama) when she was pregnant as well as one of his motorcycle Polaroids.

05.13.06 - ArtBiker is proud to have work up at the Loyal to None Art Show as Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, New Jersey. ArtBiker's work will be displayed with bikes by Indian Larry, Bill Dodge (of Bling's Cycles), and other artwork by all the custom culture greats!

04.12.06 through 04.16.06 - Matthew Linton will be presenting his work and giving a public lecture at the Popular Culture and American Culture Association's National Conference in Atlanta, Georgia.

03.20.06 through 4.15.06 - Solo exhibition of the Roadside America Series the SRO Gallery at Texas Tech University. Lubbock, Texas. Check this one out on your way home from Daytona's Spring Rally.

03.03.06 through 03.24.06 - Solo exhibition of For Love of the Machine at the DeLand Museum of Art. The Art of Chrome and Leather opens on Friday, March 3rd and will feature ArtBiker's Motorcycle Art as well as the work of Cyril Huze and Chris Cruz.

Ongoing - ArtBiker's biker art has been picked up by Advanced Media Technologies and Sony Corp to be used in broadcast programming all over Europe. The company, based in Monte Carlo, will be showing ArtBiker's Motorcycle Art on high definition flat screen TV's in public venues during 2006... if it goes well, we will continue to show work in this manner.
