The Horse Backstreet Choppers, has established itself as a high quality publication with an intensely loyal readership. The riding public is thirsty for a publication that satisfies the craving for home-built chops, bobbers and creative customs and The Horse Backstreet Choppers delivers. While other publications cater to the so-called "master builders," we here at The Horse recognize that the "real" master builders are not those rhinestone biker lites that build $50,000 static displays, but rather the average Joe who struggles to make ends meet. It's the guy who slaves away ten hours a day, then works until midnight in his garage, welding, cutting, and creating the bike of his dreams that inspires us to produce the best magazine that we can. We recognize the dedication it takes to burn the midnight oil during those cold winter nights, alone in the garage wondering if it's inspiration or insanity that compels such dedication: maybe both. It's that guy that we here at The Horse bust our asses for. It's not about shows; it's not about parties; it's not about labels-- it's about blood and guts, the will to win and sacrifice. It's just that simple. Welcome to The Horse Backstreet Choppers.
The Smoke Out events are two days of kick ass bikes, bands and hot ass women! It is about builders, from professional builders to those bloody-knuckled guys (and ladies) burning the midnight oil in an unheated shed to build a chopper they can call their own. Chops of all makes are featured - American, British, Japanese, everything.
The Smoke Out is about riders, cross-town to cross-country, riding in the sun or in a rainstorm. All looking at fine chops, listening to good music, relaxing, catching up with old friends or making new ones, eating good food, taking a couple of nice putts in a pretty countryside. Drink some beer, shop the vendors’ wares, buy an event T-shirt, get a free copy of THE HORSE BACKSTREET CHOPPERS, and meet the editors and the girls.
There were two distinct groups of people at the Horse Smoke Outs. The first group is the readers, builders and riders known as THE HORSE world network of operatives, the core of the chopper world. This is the place to be for the Chopper World State of the Union Address.
The second group of invited guests were those that wanted to observe the core of the chopper world. Maybe you’re a sport biker or maybe you drive a car and just saw the Discovery Channel show on Jesse James. Choppers are interesting.

As always Smoke Out 9 will have the chop off featuring some of the most kick ass shops and the every so popular wet T-shirt contest. This years event is going to be bigger and better than ANY Smoke Out ever. So hurry up and buy your damn ticket!!!
Oh, we just received a message from Kara Lenae, (she's our emcee and Global Horse Maiden) and she says she has a "sexy suprise" for everyone. Maybe we will see her in the wet t-shirt contest this year!! Cross your fingers.
