Gene Simmons, not because he's a member of Kiss, because of how he can turn any opportunity into a money making one.
Michael Chiklis, because everyone says he looks just like me.
James Arness, doesn't everyone want to meet Matt Dillion?
Eddie and Troy from Montgomery Gentry, boy that would be a party!
Tony Stewart, say what ya want about SMOKE, he's a hometown boy from Indiana and a great driver. And Jimmy will ALWAYS be a Johnson!!
I like all kinds of music. Blues, country, rock, 80's rock, and the old outlaw country. Cash and Haggard stuff. My all time favorites have to be Stevie Ray Vaughan and Montgomery Gentry. Two totally different kinds of music, but both bad ass!
I like westerns, thanks to my grandpa making me "sitdown and watch the shootem ups" with him. I like all the mob type movies, Goodfellas has to be the best. And Slingblade, Dwight Yoakam was the best in that. You just know he's been like that some time in real life.
NASCAR races,Sopranos, The Shield, Rescue Me, Everybody Loves Raymond, Gunsmoke, MASH, CSI(all), Overhaulin, Wrecks to Riches, DIY channel, CMAs, Flip that House, Gene Simmons Family Jewels, and lets not forget the 70s classics, Sanford and Son, All in the Family, The Munsters, Beverly Hillbillies, Bozo Show, the list goes on. I know some of those were from earlier than the 70s, but 70s is when I watched them!! LOL
Roadmaps while on the bike, though its better to just get lost and see where ya end up!
My papaw,a coal miner who was just a good ol' boy. My father, kinda tough on me when I was a kid, and I'm a better man for it.Always worked and found time to work on cars, remodel our houses, and travel South to visit family. I thought it was cool that my friends found it very important to be liked by my father. He was always busy around the house, but if he took time to sit and talk with you or check a problem you had with your car, that was huge.Friends my age work with him in the mill and tell him they remember him cooking hotdogs in the summer and feeding a dozen kids.(This was in the 70s!) I watch him now with my son, he's the best papaw a kid could have. My Mom, an EIGHTEEN year plus survivor of breast cancer. That was no doubt the toughest time for her as well as my dad and I. But her attitude was "when I get better", never "if". There wasn't a real awarness then like there is now. Mom has gone down to Tenn as well as around here to do the walks for awarness. She's a survivor and kicked ass doing it. She loves time with Aust and trys to make all his visits the best they can be for him. I know that when my son is my age, his best memories will be times with his mamaw and papaw. Thanks Mom and Dad!!
