The band started in '02 and never got of its feet.
Then it was named Dark Thorns
then tragedy struck when the drummer Justin Shipplet died in a car accident.
The band then broke up shortly after.
Another band was formed called The Shipplets in thoughts of Justin.
By 10th grade we were
Alex Pucket
Nolen Linehart
Darrin Williams
& Robbie Hammond.
We made are first demo in '05 called THE SHIPPLETS
. We had crappy made shirts and the demo cd sound was horrable!
We made a earning of about 80 bux.
Nolen shortly quit after Pucket
then Robbie dropped out of school & never called then moved.
A month later I asked a kid from Northwest, Ryan Lorencen to play backup guitar
he said yes.
We started to practice and write songs then
I went to a Happy Accidents show and met Mike Rerdin & Steve Brewer
They said they could try to help us play.
Steve couldn't because of the other band
& Mike couldn't either.
I asked my long friend Rachel Lewis if she could help us play bass.
(She was in The Shipplets)
Then Rachel told me that she didn't like punk music
& decided to leave
So I asked my friend DJ Radtke's sister, Leslie if she could be the bass player & she said yes. Still needing a drummer, Leslie asked a kid she knew at school Billy Bristol, if he would want to play drums in a band & he agreed.
I thank every one for being there to get this started

What we stand for Our band is about saying fuck the system.
America is not the worst place but that doesnt give them the reason to tell us lies.
We as Americans are greedy and very self-centered and dont realize it.
We may not realize we are very racist to with the nigger word being thrown around in school and the confederate flag.
Something else we do is were forced to buy our freedom, which is shit!
We could build a house in the woods, have a garden & small money systems
but the government drops bombs promoting violence, & stock markets crash,
making the poor more poor & the rich richer.
When all they do is suck up cash and buy stupid things they dont need
We dont care who your fucking and what youre wearing.
Cops are good, & cops are bad.
Certain people tag stuff, creating art, making things less boring, & we get
busted for it.
The system controls everything.
If youre poor, homeless & hungry,
& they catch you stealing food, they throw you in jail.
Thats a bunch of bullshit.
The System tries to make it look like people who fight in wars are heroes.
But the real heroes are the people who work hard, spend time with people they love, stand up for what they believe in and are happy with life.
Fuck the System
Fuck War
Fuck Racism
We need to unite & be the ones to change what we don't like.
