About Me

PATRICK BISHOP A gifted guitarist from the age of thirteen, Patrick found a means of expression in the blues and quickly became inspired by the playing of Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.
Initially drawn to the music for its own sake, mastering the complexity of its execution also became a challenge and out of these beginnings a very personal and distinctive style has gradually emerged.
Over time, melody and harmony have become ever more important elements and a move toward acoustic work and songwriting has allowed a more rounded musicianship to blossom.
Fusing these early preferences with a broader and more diverse range of musical influences has resulted in the ability to produce beautifully crafted and emotionally rendered lyrics backed by both sympathetic
and highly charged musical virtuosity.
The music is from the heart and will resonate with a wide audience.

"FALLING"
FOUR STAR REVIEW
* * * *
"Falling is a great example of the songwriters art.
The songs move from the massive to the macro, the global to the personal."
"...the great consistency with the cut is the quality.
I enjoyed every single track on "Falling" and was disappointed when I reached
the end, ten songs simply wasn't enough.
As Gypsy Rose Lee once said, "leave them begging for more".
It's a quote that more than applies to a rising star.
Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Patrick Bishop."
