As you can probably see I live in Hemel Hempstead. After Uni I moved to Brighton with my flat mate at the time, Lainey-Loo. We then came back to Hemel. Frankly, after an interestingly painful 2 years (3 years study)living in High Wycombe - the skanky unwashed armpit of Buckinghamshire. As I have spent the last 3 years moaning about the crap hole I will not waste my time doing so now...
Originally from Limerick and growing up in Hemel Hempstead (which I grew to love more than I’d like to admit but only after living somewhere worse!!), I now I work for a PURE, a DAB (digital) radio manufacturer. I've been here for a year now and feel like my head might explode from how much I've learnt. (ish).
I have:
A beautiful little masonette, which I love. I dont own it but for the lease period it is aaaaall mine.
Beautiful little friends - Lainey - she is a propa post Goth, special kid who is brilliant company despite the slight grammar and music nazi tendencies; Jude (Pude) - the ginger, 'nough said; Pomf (Laura) - the one with "great pins" and eye lashes that I feel may one day knock someone flat; Caris - The one I tell all my bad things to; Scott - The filthiest person to ever cross my path and who makes stuff come out of my nose when I laugh. There are countless others who mean a hell'a'lot to me
A beautiful little boyfriend - Well not so little really. He is nice. Well, he isn't nice to everyone but he is nice to my and that is good enough. I love him loads. Him and his big big arms.
I like to think I have a lot to say but I have recently forgotten how to make sentences. To replace these, I now write. I write msuic and lyrics and it makes me happy to be doing it finally. Properly.
Now I am going to do what everyone else does and put in the lyrics to the one song which I have ever been able to say is perfect and favourable over all others. One day I plan to get the first five notes of this song as a tattoo somewhere on me as a symbol of how music sends those uncontrollable feelings down my spine...when it is right:
Since I've been loving you
Led Zeppelin
Working from seven to eleven every night,
It really makes life a drag, I don't think that's right.
I've really been the best, the best of fools, I did what I could, yeah.
'Cause I love you, baby, How I love you, darling, How I love you, baby,
I'm in love with you, girl, little girl.
But baby, Since I've Been Loving You, yeah. I'm about to lose my worried mind, ah, yeah.Everybody trying to tell me that you didn't mean me no good.
I've been trying, Lord, let me tell you, Let me tell you I really did the best I could.
I've been working from seven to eleven every night, I said It kinda makes my life a drag, drag, drag, drag..
Lord, yeah, that ain't right... no no
Since I've Been Loving You, I'm about to lose my worried mind.Said I've been crying, yeah, oh my tears they fell like rain,
Don't you hear them, Don't you hear them falling,
Don't you hear them, Don't you hear them falling.Do you remember mama, when I knocked upon your door?
I said you had the nerve to tell me you didn't want me no more, yeah
I open my front door, I hear my back door slam,
You know I must have one of them new fangled, new fangled back doors man.I've been working from seven, seven, seven, to eleven every night and It kinda makes my life a drag...
a drag, drag, oh yeah it makes a drag.
Baby, Since I've Been Loving You, I'm about to lose, I'm about lose lose my worried mind.
Just One more, Just One more
Oh yeah, since I've Been Loving You, I'm gonna lose my worried mind.
