Long ago and Far away
Maxwell felt the need one day
For a Demon scarce as high
As the atoms flowing by
Over Heat he gave it sway
Making warmth go either way
From the vector nature gave
Maxwell's Demon come and save!

I am a 27 y/o working mom and college student. I have two boys, one that is a stereotypical 2 y/o and my second child, Aaron, will turn 1 in July. He is named for my best friend and the boys' godfather, AJ. I am working on a divorce from an abusive husband and focusing on getting my life back on track for my boys.

I am brash and outspoken. I don't sugar coat things when harsh honesty gets the job done, but I am not completely tactless either. I can act the lady when I have to but prefer not to have to. I am Pagan, if not Wiccan. I have 8 tattoos (one very large one on my back) and at least one untraditional piercing. I can't stand people that try to tell me what I should be doing or how I SHOULD live my life. I am a singer and an artist and a poet. I was working on my teaching degree in History. I have however decided to change my major to Oral Communications with a minor in French(I figured I speak it in my sleep might as well learn to speak it awake). All of this is taking a little longer than I thought what with the whole failed marriage and two kids thing going on, but I am a determined and stubborn woman...I will succeed....there are no other options.

I love to meet new people and make new friends. But I have no desire to mindlessly add people to my friends list that I do not know. This is VERY IMPORTANT so PAY ATTEMTION: WRITE ME and we can see what we will see. I will not approve friend requests that are not accompanied with some sort of email...like it or leave it.

My Interests

Buried at PhotoCasket.comMy interests are wide and eclectic. I love to read. I cross stitch. I sing, draw, and write as well. I attend Ren faires when I can. I am a photographer. I am a lot of things and hopefully one day I will be a librarian! *stop laughing*

I'd like to meet:

One day I would love to meet David Bowie and Stevie Nicks. They are two of my biggest idols in the music industry. There are also several magicians that I would like to meet if only to see them perform up close. Included are Penn and Teller and Cris Angel, just to name a few. I would also like to see Cirque du Soleil perform live and Phantom of the Opera live onstage. And now I have seen Cirque du Soleil! YAY!! One down!

Your Famous Last Words Will Be:
"I dunno, press the button and find out." What Will Your Famous Last Words Be?Yeah most of my top friends list is populated by members of this strange little "family" of freaks. We are a special breed and somewhere...someone loves us! To quote Hunter S. Thompson "God's own Prototype. Too weird to live, too rare to die." (sorry Jer...loved it had to steal it)

Music:

As with books, I will listen to just about anything. Although most techno tends to give me a headache even some of it I like. Although lately I have been introduced to a lot of good techno. Seems I have just been forced to listen to BAD techno for many years. Thanks, boys, for showing me the way, so to speak!Face Down

Movies:

I am open to suggestion but my all time favorite genre for movies would have to be Horror. I love having the crap scared out of me. Or being grossed out (although at this point that is pretty hard to do). At the top of that particular list are the three big names from the 80's: Freddie, Michael and Jason. Jason in space (aka JasonX) was a bit too much for me....they really should let that one die now.

Television:

As much as I used to watch television, I watch a lot less these days. Perhaps it is because my life is a lot busier now than it used to be what with school, work, kids, studying, etc. etc. Or maybe my life is filled with things that are far more entertaining than television now. Although we do try to catch the Daily Show, Stephen Colbert and at least a little CNN every night before bed.

Books:

I love to read. I will read just about anything. Horror, Sci-fi, fantasy, historical fiction, action adventure....the list goes on. My favorite authors are Stephen King and Dean Koontz. A close second is Laurell K. Hamilton. Right now there are three things at the top of my list: Jonathon Livingston Seagull, The Zombie Survival Guide, and The Stand.

Heroes:

The people that save me from myself on a semi-daily basis and this gloriously insane family of friends that made sure I didn't go any farther down the slope if crazy than necessary while dealing with Michael. You all know who you are...thank you...you saved my life and probably his.
