WHO WE ARE: We are an alternative modeling site-- a branch of Ravenwood Manor, a goth/alt/underground promotions & events organization. We strive to feature the best alternative models on Myspace on our page.
Both professional and aspiring alt models are encouraged to apply to be featured on our page. (We're not like Exile Asylum/formerly Coffin Girlz (although they are our friends and we like them)-- THIS IS NOT A CONTEST AND NO ONE "VOTES" FOR YOU. Your photos stay up as long as you want them to.)
Ravenwood Modeling is a non-paying site and we are here solely for the purpose of publicity and exposure. If we do hook you up with someone who wants to hire you, we do not demand compensation nor do we owe you anything. You and your client must work that out on your own.
We are, however, discriminating about the models and photos we accept. We do accept models of all shapes, sizes, colors and alt genres, but to be featured on our site your photos must be professional in appearance, no exceptions. Read the requirements below.
HERE IS HOW TO APPLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU MUST READ THIS BEFORE YOU CONTACT US ABOUT MODELING!!!!!!!!!!!!
REQUIREMENTS: To become a Ravenwood featured model you *MUST* (a) be 18 or older (no exceptions), (b) be a natural-born woman, not a guy in drag, (c) ADD US and submit 5-8 PROFESSIONAL photos ("Professional" means from a modeling photoset of yours which was taken by a professional photographer... IT DOES NOT MEAN webcam or phone shots, pics taken of yourself with your arm extended, snapshots on your bed taken by your boyfriend, pics from you in your bridesmaid dress from your sister's wedding, etc). And (d) we're sorry, but if you look like a Playboy bunny, you're IN THE WRONG PLACE. Please apply to a site that promotes that type of model. We are looking for alternative style models only (which includes a very wide range of looks, but is definitely non-mainstream).
THEN: Send your photos to us in a message along with your modeling name, date of birth and reason you'd like to join the ranks of Ravenwood. In the subject line of your message please put "MODEL". Ravenwood staff will then review and decide if your photos meet our standards.
THIS IS IMPERATIVE: ***MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PERMISSION TO SUBMIT ANY COPYRIGHTED WORK YOU SEND.***

Existing models: If you carry the Ravenwood name, then we expect you to behave in a manner fit to represent us when you are in public or making an appearance at one of our events. We love to party, but MAJOR DRAMA, FIGHTING, SABOTAGE, THREATS OR OTHER UNBECOMING BEHAVIOR WILL RESULT IN YOU BEING REMOVED FROM ALL FUTURE RAVENWOOD EVENTS AND STRIPPED OF THE RAVENWOOD TITLE. Please remember that above all, we are Ladies, and proud of it! That's why we're proud to call you Family.
