Being grown up isn't half as fun as growing up... these are the best days of our lives.

About Me

just your not-so-average guy
living life day by day...
but i'm kind of a big deal.
I would like to say that I am a pretty well rounded individual... I try and see everything from all sides as much as possible. I grew up moving around the world, living in the USA (6 years in Seattle, 2 years in Washington DC & 1 year in Hightstown, NJ); Brasilia, Brazil (2 years); Manila, The Philippines (2 years); Lisbon, Portugal (3 years); Toronto, Canada (3 years); Tashkent, Uzbekistan (1 year) & Brussels, Belgium (3 years). Once I finished High School in Belgium my folks moved to Cairo, Egypt whilst I moved to Seattle to persue my education. Moving around a lot can really fuck up one's ideas of going about developing social bonds and lasting relationships. I'm currently living in the United Kingdom for the rest of 2007 and first part of 2008 just to get a nice breather from the American Rat Race.
Because of the constant change of scenery when I was growing up, I have become a chameleon of sorts. I am a true audiophile, appreciating music of all kinds as I find music to be one of the most practical emotional outlets around. I write & perform my own songs (I sing and play guitar... listen to my tunes by checking out my music profile (in my top 4 friends)).
I'm about to graduate from the University of Washington after taking a three year hiatus from my studies with a Bachelor's degree in Drama. I love the theatre from every aspect, but don't foresee myself pursuing a career in the theatre although that's always an option. I specialize in acting, directing, writing and sound design. I plan on moving to Los Angeles in early 2008 to pursue a career in talent representation with one of the top five agencies. Conquer Hollywood from the inside!
I am often "off the wall" and just plain random. People tend to find that entertaining (or absolutely annoying so if you're in the latter half, deal with it or sod off). I've been working in the electronic music industry on and off for the past five years or so, most notably starting as an intern and eventually becoming a 50/50 partner with United State of Consciousness (USC Events). I also produce events outside of USC under the guise of basic.entertainment . For about 18 months I was one of the top life insurance agents for American Income Life. Made a shit ton of money but realized that making a six figure salary at twenty-one years old wasn't worth sacrificing my personal life for working 70+ hours a week and barely remembering what city I'm in.
I love working with people who strive for excellence, make me push my limits and grow as an individual. I've often been characterized as agressive about making things happen. If I'm passionate about something, I can move mountains. I love kids. I sometimes think of myself as a real life Winnie the Pooh. My biggest fear in life is being alone forever. My main philosophy I try my best to follow is "treat other people the way you'd like to be treated yourself". I'm also characterized as arrogant and have a very low tolerance for stupid people. I try my hardest to be respectful of others opinions, feelings and beliefs, but may not always agree. I expect the same of other people. I love friendly debates. I love to make people laugh and feel good about themselves. People look more beautiful when they smile.
