Many moons ago, an alliance was formed between 5 mighty warlords (drinking partners). Two wielding great ax's (Guitars) one, a mighty hammer of war (Bass) another a great spiked club (Drums) and finally, a great sword of STEEL (Vocals).
They took it upon themselves to join the great brethren such as MANOWAR and IRON MAIDEN in the war against FALSE METAL (Nu-metal 'hardcore' etc) and all POSEURS (kind of self-explanatory).
At first their bond was weak. It took many winters (one) to mould their power into what it is now.
Using their mighty weapons forged of STEEL, ACID POPE have penned several Battle Hymns (songs) which are available for download to all WARRIORS OF STEEL (anyone who isn't a POSEUR).
Soon, the world will tremble beneath the steeds of these great warriors. Stay true my brothers. Stay heavy.

With the return of the bald & slightly tubby warbler Uzi, The Warriors of steel are destined to return in the wake of the new year with a new list of battle hymns and are aiming to go that extra step to conquer their native land of England. With the opportunities availble and the drinking qualities of this band, anything is possible.

Please note the band is currently on Another hiatus at present. We're thankful for all the effort other bands and people have put in to help us out over the last 3 years, and maybe someday we'll put it all back together and thrash out as Acid Pope once again.
