Music:
Favourite genres are punk/HC, classical, world/traditional, indie rock & pop, folk, soul, reggae and ska. Generally not opera, country or metal, although there are exceptions! (eg. Dolly Parton's Jolene from 1974).
Movies:
Some favourites are Amelie (or, Le Fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain), The Princess Bride, Stark, and Microcosmos. I didn't dig Donny Darko, and thrillers/horrors scare me to shit and mess with my head (I guess that's the whole point but I can live without it).

Books:
Loads of books on music, philosophy, environmentalism, feminism, queer politics, social justice, consumerism and politics (socialist, anarchist, Australian). Off-set by some favourite kids books and some fantasy/sci-fi. Also the occasional zine - Bizoo, and Rock is a vicious beast that will chew you up and spit you out are two that I read with zest!
