Since then, the company has been participating in various events in the Chicagoland area such as The Chicago Social Forum,International Festival of Life, and MANY MORE.Not just any apparel company, 10% of the proceeds from Self-Evident, Inc. goes toward Assist Her, Inc., a nonprofit organization that provides a 15-week program entitled the
(Getting Us Ready for Life (G.U.R.L.) Project to local schools, churches, and agencies. The G.U.R.L. Project focuses on teaching young ladies about self-esteem and body image, etiquette, financial planning, etc.After a short time of being in business, both companies were recognized by Fox News in the Morning, and were featured on the "Cool Websites" segment. Self-Evident and Assist Her are pushing a movement of Empowerment for girls and women.
