I hail from the beautiful sandy shores of West Michigan, "Coast Gaurd City USA", aka: "The G.H.B."! Lived here all my life, except when I was married. I am a musician, with the Guitar being my trade instrument (or "weapon of choice"). I've been infatuated with music since I was a little tot (with pics to prove it). I started playing guitar at the age of 10, when I got my first axe for Christmas (a Les Paul copy) and took to it instantly. I took lessons for a couple months, but found I could learn things faster on my own and watching other guitarists. I played in my first band, at a field party, around the age of 14. (a crowd of about 500 people) There were alot of these events going on in this area in "the sticks", hosted by people with large acreage. Ya don't find these happening anymaore. Very cool back in the day! Soon after we were playing in nightclubs around the neighboring areas! Yep! In the days when you could drink underage IF you were in the band! (lol) **By the way... that band was "BLACK PEARL"- later to become "7 MILES OUT" then "WREKLESS"** I've played in a number of bands since, the longest reigning was the Power Metal band "CRYPT", playing original material. Then the Melodic Metal band "BOLD FACE", also featured original material. Some of the BEST times of my life were in these bands! There is NO high greater in the world than to play music on stage to a appreciative audience! *Not even the "Sticky Green"!* (Believe me... I've tried to find it. lol) MUSIC IS EVERYTHING!! Art...Emotion...Anger...Intense...Expression...Orgasmic (YES, orgasmic!*splat!*) Most of all, it is in ALL of us! Live it! Create it!
