About Me

"Bangkok, Thailand this September....I am excited!!!!!"Another disillusioned youth that lost faith in his country's ideals, promises and hopes of the future. I wanted to see what else was outside of the bubble that people were so afraid to leave. So I hit the road to Asia......what more is there to say? The Asians are cute, they are fantastic lovers, island life is kind of unique, I have developed a taste for Thai and Japanese food (not so much Taiwan food though...sorry). Seeing a new culture is pretty interesting (I learn more about myself and my home country culture everyday that I co-habitate in a second culture) and I look forward to travelling and living in more of S.E. Asia and also finding what kind of opportunities lie ahead here in Asia for me that don't involve teaching English....(yuck)It has been a year so far in Asia...I think I am getting a feel for this ex-pat thing....(wink)

My Interests

Love is all a matter of timing. It's no good meeting the right person to soon or to late~ 2046

I'd like to meet:

The way to come out of ignorance is a definite understanding, a definite knowledge in the mind, that my body is undergoing change all the time, the world is undergoing change all the time, the entire universe is in a state of fluidity and it is all full of change and it is going on on its own, according to its nature.

Music:

everything..Gotan Project, Jazz, Classical, Electro, Techno, World Beat, International, Air, Chi-town House, Goa Trance etc etc etc...I find something new everyday.

Movies:

to many to name......some of my favs..."2046" and "Dancer in the dark"

Television:

I must say.....having watched Taiwan T.V. and now Thai T.V. I still don't understand what they are saying but...the Thai commercials are much better and more entertaining. The Thai soap operas are also more racy and dramatic

Books:

Most recently "La Vida es Sueno" (Life is a dream) It's a play that questions Fate and Free Will and which of these, if not both we as humans fall victim to. As for myself, I must be the devil's advocate and say that I believe in both.

Heroes:

The dreamers, the thinkers, the entrepreneurs, the ones that have followed their own ideas against criticism, the strong and the brave. Anyone that has had the courage to follow thier own internal callings and shrug off the discouragement of people that cannot understand, even when they try... Also humans that practice love for others. All others...Even love for some people that may take forms we may not understand or appreciate or may not like. These are my heroes.....the shining people in this world motivating others and touching others with their grace and spirit. I know I sound so idealistic but not really...I know people like this (they are around) and they are my heroes....
