Andrew

I had a dream I was a vigilante sidekick.

About Me

By day, I play with DNA and radioactive chemicals. By night, I've been accused of unleashing multiple, fist-pumping clones upon many of Chicago's fine dancing establishments.

My Interests

Generally things that damage my hearing: Concerts, electronic music, and movies. I'm an avid sports fan, especially of hockey and football. I DJ and therefore I enjoy blowing large sums of cash on records that I get tired of playing after 5 or 6 times. I'm a part time science nerd. And if you go out at all in the city, you probably know that I take full advantage of Chicago's vibrant nightlife. And I *heart* great food, especially sushi!

I'd like to meet:

Someone to be my personal assistant (no experience required). . . Other scientists who aren't boring dorks . . . People who like to holiday in Detroit . . . Dancing machines . . . Comedians . . . A benefactor to pay for trips abroad . . .

Music:

I'm a big electronic music fan, especially techno. Some fav producers are Thomas Brinkmann, Hakan Lidbo, Jake Fairley, Alter Ego, John Dahlback, Dietrich Schoenemann, Terence Fixmer, Sleeparchive, Neil Landstrumm, James Pennington and the rest of the muthafuckin' UR, Tony Rohr, Johannes Heil, Marc Houle, Misc., Heartthrob, Drexciya, Detroit Grand Pubahs, Dynarec, Woody McBride, John Spring, Justin Maxwell, Galoppierende Zuversicht, Thomas Heckmann, Justin Berkovi, Guido Schneider, Alex Under, Damian Schwarz . . .Some fav DJs are Richie Hawtin, Magda, DJ Pierre, Heiko Laux, Jeff Samuel, Luciano, Adam X, Alexi Delano, DJ Bone, Orlando Voorn, Green Velvet, Traxx, Dave Clarke, Buzz Goree, Andre Galluzzi, Dan Bell, Rob Hood, James Cotton, Joel Mull, Andrew Weatherall . . .If I'm not dancing to the above, then I may be found rocking out to System of a Down, the White Stripes, Radiohead, Ween, Massive Attack, old school hip-hop, punk, and a lot of 90's Seattle-ish stuff.

Movies:

Desperado, In the Name of the Father, Once Were Warriors, Cecil B. Demented, Adaptation, Spaceballs, Natural Born Killers, Pi, Tommy Boy, Being John Malkovich, Kill Bill, Taxi Driver, Pulp Fiction, and the list goes on and on . . .

Television:

The State, 24, Simpsons, Seinfeld, Family Guy, Futurama, Spongebob Squarepants, Sanford & Son

Books:

I don't read enough these days. Older favorites are Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, The Descent, Year Zero, Dune, Stephen King's Dark Tower series, anything by The Onion
