Little Miss Sunshine, Charlie and Chocolate factory, Dear Frankie, Blues Brothers, Kramer vs Kramer, Soul Food, Twin Town, Shaft, Sweet Sixteen, Tube Tales, Sliding Door, City of God, Zoolander, Run Lola Run, Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels, In America, Ghost World, The Man Who Cried etc..
I like Cohen Bros, David Lynch, Wes Anderson, Danny Boyle, Michael Winterbottom. I prefer European movies to American movies. Also Japanese low badget movies are great.

Television:

The Simpsons, Flight of the Conchords, Big Love, Invent this, Arrested Development, The Office(BBC), Father Ted, Chappelle's show, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Curb your enthusiasm etc... Anything on Food network and Discovery channnel.

Books:

All Nick Hornby's books, Augustin Burroughs's books, Time Travelar's Wife, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Tokyo Tower, Shotaro Ikenami, Junichiro Tanizaki, All kinds of sports magazines/books, cooking books, architecture books, language books, etc...
