I remember when my story was on MTV. I hated it. I felt so alone as they replayed my fat face all day long. Be careful what you wish for LOL! I would go sit with my crazy dad in a field as he told me Jesus is coming as a one eyed horse! WTF! Then I would go watch myself on MTV. It sucked. Now I have to tell this story to help others. I've grown. I'm ready to do something more with my fathers story like I wanted to do then, but didn't know how and no one really cared enough to help-which is sad considering it went out to such a large audience. I remember logging on to schizophrenia.com for support and they said "Oh my god it's you..you found your way here." They knew me from my MTV footage. Which was cool, because it touched the people it needed to touch. OK, I'm writing a book here sorry LOL.
Robert De Niro to play my father and Martin Scorsese to direct Daughter of a Rogue! My screenplay is at Tribeca All Access. Wish me luck! Pray!

About the newspaper article! The journalist got just about every fact wrong LOL! I shot the MTV footage with the help of my buddy Tammi! There was no camera crew. It was a show where you tell your story and MTV sends the camera! She got every other fact wrong also, but I can't go through all of that. No one cares anyway, but I will say if I sell my screenplay, I hope proceeds will go to help the homeless in general-not just my father as she wrote in the article. If my father allowed me to help him-he would not still be living the way he does. I have been blamed for that for years :)~
I live in a whole nother world than you, so why not believe it can be done? There is no reality for me. You would never understand. People say, "I hope you write screenplays for a hobby." They don't realize, I wrote this one to survive my own personal madness with my father, to help the mentally ill homeless, and I WILL see it on the big screen one day!
My book "Daughter of a Rogue & Poems of the Dung Beetle Girl" by Stephanie Lynn Hilpert is available now at Authorhouse.com-in the book store. Independent film makers get respect. It is time to give poets and writers respect when they self publish! My book will be available soon at Barnes and Noble & Borders.
My mother, Mukhtar Mai, and Michael J. Fox. I admire what he has done to help in the research for parkinsons. He inspires me that maybe if I keep hope, I will sell my screenplay and help people like my dad.ALSO-ANYONE WHO GIVES NEW SCREENWRITERS A CHANCES IN HOLLYWOOD!THEY'RE A RARE BREED!
