Is FAMS for you?
Film and Music Sundays (FAMS) is an invaluable platform for west coast film and music makers to come together in a supportive environment. Filmmakers can bring their films to an audience outside of the selection-based world of film festivals, working much like an open-mic night.
Filmmakers will have the opportunity to have their own films screened, as well as screening some of the best indie films on the west coast.
Acoustic artists are encouraged to perform their music and network with filmmakers for the possibility of having their music placed in upcoming indie films.
FAMS exists to offer everyone the opportunity to meet aspiring filmmakers and musicians and to encourage collaboration. Each event features a speaker with something relevant to say, either because they have worked their way up from the same position or because they want to support new talent.
