About Me

Even in the city that's seen it all, the Tribeca Film Festival still manages to surprise audiences with its range of cinematic choices. Offering independent explorations, international perspectives, avant-garde experiments, and Hollywood spectacles, there is only one categorization for it: exciting!
The Tribeca Film Festival is no longer accepting submissions for this year, and the 2007 Festival program has been announced. This year, the Tribeca Film Festival will present a total of 159 feature films and 85 shorts selected from 4,550 film submissions. These selections include 75 World Premieres from over 40 countries. The complete list of films selected for Competition and Spotlight can be found by clicking here .
Screenings for the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival will be held at 11 different locations in Tribeca and throughout the city, with three new theaters added for 2007. Passes and Packages are available for purchase right now, and single tickets will be available for purchase to the general public online, by phone, and at the Box Office beginning on Saturday, April 14. For the latest information news about the Festival, visit www.tribecafilmfestival.org . Better yet, sign up our regular e-newsletter to keep yourself informed about last-minute ticket availability and program changes as they happen.
The Tribeca Film Festival was founded in 2002 by Robert De Niro, Jane Rosenthal, and Craig Hatkoff after the attacks on the World Trade Center to help revitalize Lower Manhattan economically and culturally through an annual celebration of film, music, and culture. The Festival's mission is to assist filmmakers to reach the broadest possible audiences, enable the international film community and the general public to experience the power of film, and to promote New York City as a major filmmaking center...
