I started writing about the middle of September of '99. Over the years I've written 7 novels and have one published through self-publishing.
Winter of Red Demise was first published in Jan. '04, but since then I have made adjustments to the manuscript, mostly in terms of the grammar.
Brief synopsis...
It’s early January and the east coast city of Hamilton is in the grips of a major winter storm. Homicide Detective’s Martin Kellermen and Jack Gibson are called to the Burlington Suites Hotel were the dead body of pop singer Amanda Darby was discovered by her bodyguard along with a note purposely left behind by the killer, a note in which he promises four more murders. Martin and Jack question many, but the answers are few and scattered and offer little truth in revealing any type of solid lead while the killer, known only as Matthew, remains in the dark.
Within two days, there is a report of two more murders and, slowly, clues begin to surface within each note Matthew leaves behind. Both detectives, feeling added pressure brought on by their superiors and quite aware that they are running out of time, fear Matthew will disappear underground after his planned fifth murder, and begin to realize their only hope to catching him is concealed in each of his victim’s past.
